I don't want an Xbox, playstation, or Wii device. Is there anything else that can easily connect to my TV through HDMI that would allow me to connect to my TV through my Z10?

Cheapest option would be a $40 Raspberry PI running XBMC media center or any new smart Bluray player has DLNA for around $100. Just check the box to make sure.

I think you misunderstood the OP just like I did. I was going to say "OP, you're confusing DLNA with HDMI", but he's really not. He wants a DLNA capable device that will connect to his TV via HDMI. He then wants to "connect" this DLNA device to his DLNA capable Z10. But you do bring up a good point: why not just connect your phone to your TV via HDMI, OP?

A new smart TV is one option. My Samsung has Dlna
Another is a new receiver since most have dlna
The cheapest is the raspberry pi mentioned above. I've seen some for $60 on Kijiji

I know. I was answering his post while ignoring the title of his post. Just trying to be funny. Sorry.

    I'm no expert but...
I have a WDTV Live Hub. It is DLNA capable.
I can show pictures that I take via DLNA
I can show movies that I converted to Z10
I can show the default demo video
I can play music from my Z10 to the TV as well
    ***But***
I cannot show a video I took with the Z10
Nor can I show DRM protected video (movies downloaded from BBWorld)

I believe that the codecs used to play/show things are dependant on the DLNA device (in my case the WDTV).
So... a question to you OP
What exactly do you want to do? It might have a bearing on what you choose as a DLNA capable device!

Just bought a new Samsung BluRay drive last week that has YouTube, NetFlix, and DLNA clients. $100 at WalMart.

A DLNA capable HD television. Failing that, the WDTV Live Streaming Media Player is DLNA capable. Works a charm for me.

So guys, are your experiences the same or similar to mine? What things can you do/not do with your choice of DLNA device?

I didn't see it listed here but I have a Windows Media Center PC attached to my TV and Media Player supports DLNA, I can look at my Z10 pictures and movies but for some reason some movies do not work. I think it's the one that have been filmed in landscape mode but i'm not sure.
