I have noticed that whenever I turn my z10 off and back on it splits up my contacts again and separates my sim ones to organise them by their first name. Has anyone had this problem? Is there a way to stop it from doing this I am getting sick of spending an hour to re link them again.

Industry is implementing dynamic OTA syncing of our Contacts and Calendars, a tricky business, as many have noted. Plus, VZN is supporting BB Safe or whatever it is called: their motto, save anything and everything that moves.

Try turning your Calendar and Contacts sync interval to "manual" for now, until things settle down. Go and get a copy of the app Contact X. Many (Yahoo, Gmail) have introduced new tools in case you mangle your web site contacts. They have been saved for you.

Where did you get your contacts list that is presently on your Z10 ? Find out and treat this data very gently. Get familiar with MS Outlook.

Eventually this syncing will have an enormous impact on business men and women constantly on the move. Way to go, RIM !!! Doc Neutron

Does anyone know if this is going to be resolved soon? I am rather sick of having to re link contacts every time I restart the phone.
