I have a Bold 9900 with some odd features.

I cannot get 4G on it. Even after updating to a relatively new OS, it does not give me any 4G option. In the about screen its noted as Bold 9900 Smartphone (3G, Wi-Fi).

There is no carrier or RIM splash screen. Its been used on Rogers and I didn't have to unlock it. It came in a package and appeared to be new, but perhaps the person who sold it to me unlocked it prior.

I would like to use this on Bell now, but unsure if it will work.

Any help would be appreciated!

let us know if your unlocked or not. If you are unlocked it'll work on bell

Not sure how it being unlocked will have a bearing on whether the 3 or 4G shows but don't you need a up to date Sim card from the whatever carrier you're gonna go with to be able to show 4G.
