I've just checked Google play store for the latest Instagram version and I found it's 4.0.2..

I've said i'll try it using xsacha method since 4.0.1 didn't allow me to play videos..

So downloaded the apk, used the method, opened it and the videos are working!

Unfortunately as 4.0.1 no option to record a video

I connected via USB, and just dragged the converted bar file onto "Install.bat" (using sacha's method) and it installed automatically. Just make sure your debugtoken is installed on your phone and config.txt is setup properly.

I use the chrome extension method to sideload. And I have instagram working...I think we all do except that it doesn't allow recording of video. But I wasn't going to use the record feature so 4.0.1 is fine with me!

Yeah it's expected, but for me 4.0.1 didn't let me even watch the videos that other posts, so 4.0.2 fine for me, i'm not willing to use the video recording feature too

There's a tutorial on the forums that gives instructions on where to get the files. It is the chrome browser PlayBook extensin. It was created to sideload app onto the PlayBook but it also works for BB10. Simple as drag and drop into the Window.
