I have two Playbooks a 32GB and a 64GB. I bought the 32 GB in February 2012 and the 64GB in April 2013 because I needed more memory for music and movies. The strange thing is that when I use my BB Bold 9790 to access my g-mail account I have a problem with the 64GB and not with the 32GB.
The 32GB automatically gets my email when I use the Bold to access an internet connection. The 64 GB I need to manually reconnect to my Bold to the Tethering option, then I can get access to my gmail account. When I am back home on Wifi there is no problem. With both I have no problem using Bridge functinality or browsing, or Linkedin acount.
I checked and I think I use the same settings on both Playbooks. The only reason I can think of is that the 32GB was upgraded from OS 1.0 to 2.0 and the 64GB OS 2.0 was already installed. So may be there was something good in 1.0 and left when upgrading

Does anybody else has the same problem and what was the solution?

I'm not sure I follow but both pb's are bridged to the ONE PHONE at the same time? It is possible that the bridge email function can only be "active" on one pb at a time????

You can get the email so it's not that checkoff setting in Bridge where you can select what phone apps are bridged???

    Ambasador,
It isnot at the same time. I have PlayBook with 64gb I use for business and the 32gb for private at home. But last weekend on private trip I noticed I had nog troubleshooter getting gmails via Teteringen Bold but on Monday on train to work I did not automatically get Gmail. However I could surf the net without problem. Weird.

I don't use gmail on mine and you're using the native app, correct?

Have you tried removing the account and rebooting and adding again. Or the 2 step thing.

Thank you for your response. Correct I use native email for my gmail and the bridge for my corporate e-mail.
Those where my first steps removing account, rebooting and adding again.
What is the 2 step thing?

It's a Google thing where you set it up thru them. I've never had to do it so I'm not familiar with it. A search should get you what you need to see if that helps.
