Hello...new to the Q10 today and have noticed that the sides of my white Q10 get pretty warm...even what might be considered hot to some. Anyone else having this issue? Seems to happen when using any application for 5 minutes or more.

My Q10 got very hot on the first day. I think I was just breaking in the phone. It works perfectly normal now and at a normal temperature.

Cool. This is my first day with the phone so figure I should let it settle in maybe.

Yes the back and sides get hot. I'm just over a week in with the Q.

    Occurs during prolonged use.

Well i've been on my phone for about two hours straight and the bezel is getting warm. I was doing the same when I first got it... Hm. I guess it is because of prolonged use. However it isn't nearly as hot as when I first got it.

Hi, my q10 also got really hot the first few days.. but since I updated to os 10.1.0. 2309 I have not had it since and battery lasts more then a full day!!

With me the heating also had as a reaction that the battery drained

Probably related to syncing contacts, email, calendar and all that stuff.

The back of my Q10(black) gets kind of hot randomly while using it. I do not notice a pattern as to what functions are tied to the heating issue.

The heat doesn't last long and I'm back to normal. I don't really notice it sometimes.

I've had my Q10 for a while now (I'm Canadian so got it the 2nd or 3rd day it became available) but have never noticed either the sides or back getting hot. Mine is black. Perhaps I don't use it enough?

I am on Vodafone in the Netherlands..

To give an example: phone went off the charger around 8:00 and 12 hours later after moderate use (some Web surfing, CB10, few phonecalls and whatsapp) my battery is down to 60%.. same use with prior to the update and with the heating problem my battery would almost be dead by now..

Unfortunately returned my Q10. The phone would get blazzingly hot on the metal sides and Verizon only gives you one exchange or return so I ended up with the Galaxy S4. Very bummed out.

Bummer, you should have done an upgrade to one of the good leaks and it would have fixed it. Enjoy your S4.

After being on 4G LTE all day for the first time, I've noticed that my AT&T Q10 does get warm and the battery drains quickly (however it isn't too bad). What is the leak I can download and where can I find instructions on how to get it?

    Thanks!
