I like the browser, I like my Z, I love reader mode, but I'm surprised I haven't seen any complaints about video through the browser. I've tried it on IGN, Crackle, CNET, various others, and Crackberry as well, and I've found video, through the browser, to be very laggy and slow to load. I can understand this over my phone's data connection, but this happens over wifi too. Video performance tends to be better on desktop mode, and I've had videos that just won't work unless the browser is on desktop mode. Has anyone else noticed this? Any opinions on possible settings or anything? Yes, I have flash enable.

I dunno man. I haven't notice any problem with videos through the browser. What OS #are you using? Also have you tried clearing the cache? My Z10 loads videos faster than my wife's galaxy S4 on on par with my ipad mini

I'm on T-Mobile 2006. It did improve some with the update, because there were videos that wouldn't open at all. I'm mainly asking because I hear so much talk about how great the browser is, and I can't imagine being the only one with so-so video on an otherwise great browser. I'm going to empty the cache and see how that goes. Thanks.

It looks great when it works, mine usually loads slowly and tends to not play so smoothly. I guess it could be the sites I go to. You have sites you browse where you know the video works well?

I love the in-browser video. Love the entire full screen mode with swipe down to exit. No lag for me as well

Mine loads and plays great. When I'm home it plays the best because I've got good wifi here.

I had problems with IGN initially, but since the 2354 update it's not been a problem.

Yes I do have the same issue u having, I'm at a loss for words to what the problem is, but for me it's when I'm watching Utube video in the browser, at approximately the 15 second mark the video shutters and stops for a second then starts again. Also at times when video is play the phone can become unresponsive ie can't pause and play and I don't get volume some times, all this is very strange, any one have any ideas.

I am so happy with mine. So fast. Most videos begin playing a split second after I click on play. And play flawlessly to the end. Stock OS.

Is it just me or it the quality of the youtube video while in mobile mode disgusting? The video is a tiny little display of a screen in the middle ( maybe an inch big) and it sounds terrible. Like it was recorded by a ****ty phone at a concert

This is by far the best browser I have ever used on any phone or tablet. Video works great for me on wifi. Cell connection can be spotty, but I'm often surprised at how quickly and perfectly things load even when I'm showing bad low bats. Now out of habit from coming from the legacy devices I clear my cache and cookies, and do a restart daily. I don't know if it's necessary with this phone, but got so used to doing it with my torch, I just continued with my z.

Some YouTube videos plain suck when I play them, and others are great. Overall a decent experience but could definitely be improved. Nowhere near as easy as using a desktop browser Imo. I've tried both desktop mode and mobile mode. Maybe it's because I have Flash on? I haven't cleared my cache in a while maybe that'll help.

I had many problems with my previous D-Link router... all works like a charm with my Cisco dual band router. I noticed this because for example it was working great from the wifi at work but not at home... also you might mind issues connecting to remote files on your computer depending on the wifi network you are on accessing over LTE is not an issue. All of this to say that try several wifi networks before you conclude it is the phone that is not responding well !
