I know this is a bit silly, but I was wondering what the Q10 packaging looked like for people not with Verizon. In every unboxing video I saw online, the phone came in a black box with "Q10" emblazoned on the box in the same purple color used in the OS. The Verizon box doesn't have that or even the Q10 lettering on it. I just always thought it was kind of cool to finally see those letters on the box when I was anxiously awaiting the debut of the phone!

The Canadian carriers all have the box you describe with the purple Q10. Some evidently didn't ship with headphones though.

Not too sure if this wiill help but the T-Mobile one shipped in a white box, with no headphones. Just the q10 and a short charging cable and plug in.

It is not silly for me as I love the black box with purple lettering (purple my fav color). This is even sillier, the box is actually one of the reason I bought Q10. Now look at the 'wooden' S4 box, total turn off for me!

I would have taken a white box and no headphones just to get on a 2 year plan. Up here in Canada we have to take 3 years which is a rip off.

The box doesn't matter to me it's what's inside! Verizon has always had black boxes for BlackBerry's with an occasional colorful sleeve {Storm}.
