    Hey Guys,

So Im gonna risk it and try to take apart my 9810, as i wanna put a new housing on it. I've already ordered one on ebay, and subsequently received it, however only received 2 types of screwdrivers. I tried to take my 9810 apart, until i got to the stage of lifting the sticker inside the battery bay to unscrew a few more screws, none of the tools worked.

Can anybody tell me the exact screwdrivers needed to take the housing apart, and where i could get them, if possible?

    Thanks guys!

head to your local electronic hobby shop and get a set of Torx screw drivers, they will have all the sizes needed to disassemble to device

Check out the disassembly video on YouTube, it should really help. Also, those guys actually sell tools for this.

i dont know about every size. most sets go down to a 5 or 4 torx. i was lucky to find a set that went down to 3. you'll need a 6,3 and 1! there are 2 #1 screws. i used a small hex that almost fit and a pair of tweezers to rotate the screw by gripping the outside. i dont recommend it, but i wasnt willing to wait for the torx#1 i order from China once i got it half apart.

    Thanks for the replies guys.

Every electronics store around here have only 1 branded set of Torx drivers, but yea nothing smaller than a 4 as dalegm has mentioned.

Ill checkout that vid on youtube and also online to see if i can order a set of screws.

Ill post here to let you guys know of my outcome, hopefully itll turn out well..lol

    Cheers!

Mikey! Where are you located? IF you are in the States then try a big box hardware store like Lowes or Home Depot. I know for a fact Lowes has the tools ya need cause I bought one there a while back. Its a little all in one torx head screw driver. It will work perfectly for that.
