As far as I know, the current Bible app is a side load, and for those users like me who got used to the native os 7 app, they'll know this one is pretty laggy and very un useful for none-english readers. In fact, any language with alphabets other than English is unreadable, besides the non-fuctioning audible books.
Any plans for a native bb10 app?

Is this the Youversion app? I have both this and E-Manuel apps. The Youversion is glitchy in that it keeps looking for an Internet connection. Works ok otherwise. E-Manuel is good and works well, although there is a scroll lag.

I was talking about the youversion app, and I meant to say ported!

Any news on a native version?

I really hope so. The ported version of the youversion bible app is no where close to how great the os7 version was!

For what it's worth, I'm having good luck with the Olive Tree Bible Study app (version 5.3.0 sideloaded). Greek and Hebrew text is fully functional.

Can you open the text in Arabic and send a screenshot please? I want to see if it's readable before I sideload it. Thanks!

How do you know that? Not that I doubt you, but I was just wondering.

Thanks I downloaded e-mmanuel, but it isn't for me. I am looking for Dutch translations, and unfortunately youversion is the only app that actually has several Dutch translations.

This is the Statenvertaling (State bible from 1637). It is common but not modern. Although mobile apps use a revised version from 1888, it is still very old and hard to understand. NBV is also common but also modern.

This update is great! It takes good advantage of the BB10 UI. Good job, YouVersion team.
