    Hi all

Please advice, as can be seen from the screenshot, Whatsapp for some reason is showing twice in the HUB. How would one go about to fix this?

Have you tried deleting WhatsApps and doing a battery pull?

Hi thanks for the reply. I removed Whatsapp completely, restarted the phone and restarted the HUB but there is still one entry of Whatsspp on the left. When I click on it on the left side, there appears to be three messages linked to entry.

There is no way I can delete these messages, I keep my finger pressed on the entry until the trash can appears, I select to remove it but it is not deleted, it just stays there...

On the contrary, my WhatsApp doesn't appear in the hub? Now, how should I get it in?

How would one go about to "Wipe and reload" ?

Or, you can wait till the next update. An update sometimes fixes stuff, not because of the update but because the update is kind of like a software reload. But no data reload required.

Backup your BlackBerry with BlackBerry link, initiate a security wipe from security settings, and load your backup.

Check for a whatsapp update in blackberry world. If it doesn't have an update, go into your hub settings under hub management and make sure it's on.

How, exactly, did you make this happen? Was it some combination of OS and/or app upgrades? Any leaked OSes along the way? Was any backup/restore involved? Was our app ever installed in the work partition? I'm asking, because I genuinely want to know, since this is a very serious issue we should test/reproduce if it could affect anyone else. (Under normal circumstances, this shouldn't even be possible.)

Once something gets stuck in the hub, and can't be removed through normal means, the only way to fix it is to basically wipe-and-reinstall the OS.

Have exactly the same. it happened with my when I made a backup- upgraded to SW 10.1.0.2312 and after this i downloaded the new version of Whatsapp BEFORE i restored my full backup.
Now I'm stucked with 2 time WhatsApp in the hub and cannot delete 1 of them (the one coming from the restore it looks like if I see the messages in there). Did an uninstall and then only 1 WhatApp is removed from the Hub the other one remains and cannot be delted (also tried reset (volume up-down) from the phone and a Hub reset)

Most likely need to do a full clean install but am afraid to lose my Whatsapp histoy (although seet to be saved on mediacard)

Why not going into Hub Settings first and check accounts, sign out and have it not display and rest the Hub. Why are we wiping for a single task before looking at a solution vs back up and wipe?

I had this happen with a gmail account recently. I just removed the gmail account, leaving 1 copy in the HUB which did not work, then restored my "settings" from my latest backup, added the gmail account, then carried on with my life. Then I realized that gmail sucked balls and added my Hotmail and removed gmail again.

I imagine people saying to wipe are those that say to reinstall windows if notepad breaks.

Well it looks like my post above is not a working solution. This is a bug in BB10. However I still stand by my point ... document whats wrong, troubleshoot and document the steps and/or a working solution B4 throwing in the towel.

I just updated to 10.2.1 and I am having the same problem. Whatsapp is showing up twice in the HUB. I don't know if it was like that before the update or not, never checked it before...
    Anyone found a solution?

Uninstall WhatsApp, reboot device and reinstall the app
Should take care of it. An update with a fix has been submitted to BlackBerry World, according to the WhatsApp devs in these forums

I experienced this a couple of times, most of the times it happened, just opening the app and receiving a message makes it show up in the Hub or rebooting again
