Put the Z10 in landscape mode.

    Open an app.

Then try to flick the app closed.

It can take a dozen attempts or more to get an app to close.

When is this to be fixed?

Or, is it a design flaw?

It's even harder if you use a case in landscape mode. There isn't enough room and it gets frustrating to swipe up.

I guess I'd rather have my screen be larger than to have a larger bezel. Hopefully a software update will address this.

Yea...it's especially annoying when the app doesn't support portrait and forces landscape

I would say it is more an issue from where the swipe is recognized.

At times I have used multiple swipes, but overall I would say it us fine.
Wider bezels mean a bigger device or smaller screen at the same device size.

On a side note, apparently games can tell the OS to reduce the bezel width so that you do not accidentally minimizer applications, especially games.

On a side note, but related to swiping up, sometimes while typing, the word suggestion in the space bar isn't what I want. So I have to swipe up from the space bar to keep my original word and that exits the application...Annoying. :/

That was modified in later leaks to require a longer swipe. Either get a leak or grab a newer OS from a carrier.

What I do is hold the phone vertically and swipe up.
even though the app/game is still in landscape, the OS recognizes the orientation change and a swipe up works just fine.

No problems for me as I can do it on first try. So you wanted a fatter phone with the same screen size on it?! Now THAT would be a design flaw!
