I read that at least one user (zten) already has his battery cover tab broken and he has to tape it.

I wonder if the battery cover tab is really that fragile. How many times can we take off the battery tab before it breaks?

I play with my battery door cover most days, and it still fits firmly. It seems flimsy as it does bend very easily. Unless the user is really pulling, or the plastic is weak, I doubt you'll come across a problem.

Zten.. that name is starting to get up on me.

Meh, its a pretty tough backplate. It might bend but not break easily.

Also, didn't his Zed get run over by a truck?

I don't know. I read it at the CB battery contest that he said his cover is already broken and he tape one of the tab...

not sure, how he treats his phone, but sometime you can tell a person by the way he treats his own stuff

I have heard of people complaining about the battery door becoming loose after time and repeated taking's off. I take mine off a lot, bad habit, but I mess with battery doors on everything, but mine is tight as new. I wonder if there is a difference between the white and the black ones though?? I would think that the white doors would have more tendency to wear and bend and break.

Mine definitely feels a touch loose lately, although in its defense I've probably fiddled with taking it on and off on numerous occasions.

Mine is black, thats why I wonder if white breaks or wears easier

It's plastic so what do you want a tank like experience it's like the galaxy s3 and many other devices.

I have had no issues yet, if ya leave it alone it won't break. Simple right?
