No way would this catch on... mainly because itunes is still the king of the digital media consumption ... i.e. music, movies, integration with your computer and sharing between your devices... for this to catch on you have to either make it fully compatible to iTunes, or make people completely break away from Apple.. neither are viable options... Id like to see a tablet before a ipod competitor from blackberry

Nice, but want either bigger or replaceable battery. "i's" requiring recharge won'work for me. I get 10-12 hrs on Z10, but also use evenings heavily. So I often replace battery by evening..
Other than that, like it, but prefer Z10 I have.

Sorry not to try and sound critical but it's Not much of a design render when all you seemed to do is increase the size of the Z.
I could effectively double it and call it the new PlayBook but again that would be futile.

As others have said remember the galaxy player not many do and that's coming from someone who has one lol

What would make people go out and buy this, when they can buy the latest iPod Touch and have iTunes (I'm not a fan, but many love it) a huge wealth of apps at their disposal?

The people who would love this device would just go and buy a Z10 (or the Z10's replacement).

AMOLED screen? No thanks. I'm never getting an OLED screen again after my experience with burn in on my phones. I'll stick with my Z10.

Surely if this was to be going up against the iPod stable, it should have something that is different. I don't know how much internal memory costs but i'm sure that BlackBerry would get more people interested if they could offer more internal memory storage for less. I would be interested if they had a 128gb one as my iTunes library is already over 100gb.

BlackBerry needs to play the game and try to undercut Apple if they are trying to get in on this market....
