Hey guys first thread ever on this site so apologies if I didn't post it in the right place. Anywho, I purchased a z10 from Telus from a friend completely new and it's still running 10.0.10.684... I live in New York City and am using a T-Mobile sim. I have tried to remove the sim and do a software check no results. Or does it not work like that. Thanks.

Telus Z10's are STL100-3 models, so you can find the update file on here to get 10.1. The most recent is 10.1.0.2354. You can download it from this thread (just grab the autoloader, the thread has instructions on how to update it's pretty fool proof though) and plug your phone in and away you go.

Hi I have the same problem. I have a Telus blackberry Z10 and it is STL100-3. Came yesterday in Greece where I live and says to update . I updated and now has the 10.0.10.116.what should I do when will I receive the 10.1 update?

I just got the update. What I did was remove the sim card and a card did a security wipe from the settings menu. After the wipe I booted it up connected to the wifi and it picked up the update.

install the .2354 leak. I've been using it on my Telus/Koodo Z10 and it's great.

install the update, remember to do a security wipe immediately after installing the update.

The device may have heavy battery drain for the first day or so. Don't be worried, just let it do it's thing. The next day you will be golden.

DO NOT INSTALL THE LEAK. Please, just remove your sim cards and do a security wipe over wifi. Back it up if you have to.

Doesn't matter if it's a Telus Z10, it's the sim card you have now that triggers the update. And again, don't install leaks because they are unofficial and might only give you more problems. Don't forget that developers make apps for official releases, not unofficial ones. There are no guarantees with anything when installing a leak. You install it completely at your own risk, and at your own discretion.
