This was all on 4g, no wifi for 90% of the time.

Phone was off charger at 10:30 am and it's now 4:40 PM with 70% left. My battery on 10.0 was good but with 10.1, well, the battery speaks for itself.

Anyone else got insanely good battery life like this?

HOWEVER it does seem that when my battery hits 40% it drains about 1.5 times as fast

Mine is also fantastic. No complaints, typically gives me more than the day if not just the day. My brightness is also at 20 percent and I'm a pretty heavy user in texts and BBM

Wow, you must have been so near a cell tower...I doubt I can ever stay below 70% even before 2 pm...

But I have hit about 50 % at that same exact time before, but not to the extent of usage you chalked up. Congrats on having a lottery winning battery, dude!

My use is much less than urs on 3G and my phone get discharge at the rate of 10 % per hour. If I play videos it'll discharge faster. At 10:30 my ph was full charged 100 %, its 3:15 now n its showing 56%. U r lucky.

I have always had good battery life with my z10 from day one easily lasts a day on heavy usage that's more then good for me

Nope, mine has never lasted more than 12 hours. If it's on idle for 8 hours and in use the other times it'll last about 12 hours.

My phone was fully charged and off the charger at 8:51am. All I did was turn it on and check Instagram, Twitter, delete emails, and check Crackberry. It's 9:02am and my battery is already down to 93%. Don't know how people get amazing battery life when I've done was turn the damn thing on and check some crap.

Same, mines around 70% after using my phone for 12ish hours every day. It would be at 40 or dead with 10.0 after a full 18 hour day.

Wow put it this way I won't even touch the phone after it comes off the charger, and 2 hours later with good signal my battery will be down to 93%.....

I never touched the phone as I can't do to work, and every single time it's at 93% or less. I'm not sure what's going on with this phone or the battery but it sucks.

My iPhone 5 would still show 100% or even 99% doing the same thing. I don't have any email push enabled at all, and only have my contacts to sync every 24 hours. How are you guys possibly even getting the amazing battery life you all say you do!

My new Z10 doesn't seem to have the awesome battery life I'm hearing about... I've side loaded a bunch of Droid apps - perhaps that's why? I'd like an app that tells me what is using up the battery.

Honestly, my battery has a mind of its own. I do the same routine every single day and my battery life varies every single day.

I must admit though after the upgrade battery life has become ridiculously good.

I've had my share of battery problems but with the latest leak n radio My battery is the exact same way, I take it off at about 10am and I'm on it all day, reading bgr.com, crackberry.com, and other tech related sites with videos threw out my day while taking calls, emails, etc., it's now 4:05 were I am and I'm at 71%. Except this morning I was surprised because I went to bed with my phone at 98% and when I awoke it was only at 81%, and that's with battery lover and the cb10 app open all night.

My screen is at 25-30%, nfc off, blue tooth off, my emails/contacts, email, and calendar syc every 4 hours(except important accounts).

If I play a game my battery tends dies quickly though within a couple to few hours.

I've experienced this, as I stated in my post above but my z10 is on par if not better then my iPhone 5s battery life.

One thing I do wonder about is the drain while the phone is in idle(screen off), and if it has to do with bb10/qnx being a multi-tasking os. I know ios apps are in a stalled/paused state when minimized, and depending on the developer some android apps too, so with bb10 any apps open would be updating all night adding to battery drain.

After installing the latest Rogers update, the absolute most I can get on my battery is 8-9 hrs Monday to Friday. After unplugging it at 6:20 am this morning, I've got 28% left according to BG and that's after:

• 40-50 Emails
• 12 text msgs
• 64 BBM msgs
• 8 WhatsApp msgs
• Screen brightness at about 60%
• About 30 mins of talk time (15 on Bluetooth)
• Wifi, NFC off

If I let my battery run completely dry I might be able to get 10 hours but it would be a big stretch. How some of you get that crazy battery performance is beyond me. You better knock on wood it doesn't go away!!

It does go away
After the 10.1 update, my battery lasts maybe less than a third of what it used to.
On 10.0, I could go 16+ hours with moderate usage and crappy service. Now, I have to charge it halfway through the day. It's balls. I don't know what the hell happened.

It does seem like the battery life has improved after 10.1. I generally don't use my phone heavy and I always got 12 hours. Right now after 14 hours I have 56% which is better than what it would have been previously.

Why would I use battery guru if my battery is amazing? I reckon battery guru drains battery itself aswell. No point having an app if i don't need it...in all due respect

Maybe not the best comparing to other users' experience, but it's decent enough for me.

Unplugged from charger at around 7am and I got around 75% left by 3pm. It sits around 52% by 11pm

So it's should be clear that the usage had gone down after my office hour. But I'm actively BBMing with few groups and ppl.
Definitely had at least 200 BBM msgs incoming / day.
Coupled with around approx 30" phone call a day, +- 20 emails, 30-40" CBing, +-30% browsing.

That approximately sums up most of my days.
