I know there is many threads about rebooting, but after the second update, my Z10 always reboots, often multiple times while charging , is it just my phone?

But mine has done that with other OSs too and even had 2 or 3 reboots off the charger.

You really need to talk with your carrier. That's the first step in the process so that they are aware of your problem and can escalate it and hopefully they can help.

+1 only reboots at night when on the charger. This has happened with all of the leaks. On AT&T

Yes but it never rebooted before while charging, what can they do, I won't send my phone to repair if it's a software problem...

Mine did this too...I am on Verizon...I had to reload the stock software...then it stopped.

My reboots are 80% plugged in, 20% normal use.

For charging, I've tired various BlackBerry oem chargers, in different outlets, etc. Without any luck.

Did the same thing with different chargers, different outlets and nothing worked. My only cure was to charge before I went to bed, turn off the phone and turn it one the following morning. Good thing I don't rely on it to wake me up!

Since the 10.1 update I have had reboots every single night while charging. Always in the early hours of the morning too according to battery guru. My phone has not missed a night, whereas before the update it would only update once every 4 days, and very randomly in terms of time of day. Tonight, I will charge my phone before bed (because I could charge my phone and reach 100%, but it doesn't reboot. Instead, it reboots in the early hours of the morning several hours after achieving a full charge.) and leave it sit all night and see if it rebooted by the time morning comes. If it does, it's not really a charging issue.

Most likely a total coincidence, but one of my bbm contacts had the same reboot time as me, 05:48 edt. Different carrier and different state, odd that it would happen the same minute though

I have the same problem. My device has never once rebooted while I was using it, but it only reboots while charging. Usually, I don't notice the reboots until I look at the boot time and realize that it had rebooted while I was sleeping! Has occurred on multiple occasions.

AT&T with OS Version 10.0.10.822.

After 10.1 update, Telus, I have had the reboot issue. I also added a screen protector around the same time. First 3 months were flawless. Reboots are while the phone is idle and not being charged.

Sure it's the charger and not the update? Anyway, I'm on T-Mo usa, dead stock OS, reboots are very rare and have never had it reboot on charge.

Mine is doing it as well. But the weird thing is that I always switch off my phone at night before charging. Next morning it's switched on. Every now and then it shows the green LED, though...

My phone didn't reboot for the first time ever last night since getting the 10.1 update. The difference? I charged my phone before bed, and didn't leave it charging all night. This is definitely a software issue. Why? Because on 10.0 I wouldn't get reboots while charging overnight.

I thought mine only did it while charging, and that's with the PB rapid charger. But today, for the first time, I experienced an unplugged reboot. Never had them pre 10.1, so I'm pretty sure it's software related. I recently updated to OS .1880, but that didn't remedy anything besides some lag here and there.
I'm on a STL100-2 bought at 3 Denmark.

My 'new' reboot issue has a few similar characteristics....

Seems to happen around 7 am, central. The earliest being 645, and the latest 725. These happen while on the charger, that came with the phone, after an overnight charge.

The other reboots, have nothing in common....Except frustration!!!?

The last two nights, no reboot. Not sure why though, as the only thing I changed is some wifi settings. 5ghz only, and allow interaccess hand off.

Well spontaneous reboot just happened while not charging and not overnight, so I guess it was making up for the last two nights.

I also haven't had a reboot the past two nights.. so that means the past 2 days! I didn't charge phone at night, will try charging tonight and see what happens.
