Getting worse battery performance with 10.1 and my phone seems to get really warm even when I'm not using it... anyone else?

Downgreade or instal leak os 1880.
Battery life sucked for me to on original os.
Only 8h max, now i had a 24h with mod use.
Today 14h heavy use.
If you can, you should instal the leak

Is this leak also for the Q10??? My Q10 battery is horrible too! How can i make this leak?

I don't think there is one for the Q.
Maybe check out the thread about the z10 os 1880 leak.
Someone asked it there also.

OP, how long have you had this Z10? I found each time I installed a new BB10 version it took about 30 hours until it finished indexing for universal search. This meant the phone was warm and the battery life was bad. After that finished, the battery life is much better.

I also had Wi-Fi turn off for some mysterious reason (it seems to have stopped doing that). That would put me on LTE for everything which uses more battery at my office. Not so noticeable at home.

Got the phone when it first came out, month and a half-2 months ish... I don't use wifi at my office but do when I'm home. Today with moderate use it lasted around 6 hours without wifi while I was at work and got warm enough that it couldn't live in my pocket. It's running 10.1.0.273 on virgin mobile.

Don't get it why there's so much variation, because for me after 10.1 the battery life on my z10 is markedly improved

I made a post regarding battery life. If the phone is hot there is something going on. Go to app world and update your apps. After I did that the phone cooled down and the battery life improved.

I use my phone no differently than i had before the 10.1 upgrade. Prior i was getting a good 14-15 hours out of it, now I am getting 6 at the most. This has been going on for weeks. I have tried removing apps and adjusting app settings but to no joy. The phone is constantly warm to the touch as well. I have read all sorts of posts saying do this or try that. While some of these tricks might help a bit, there is no way they can account 60-70 percent loss in battery life I have experienced since the upgrade.
