    Hello,

    I use several Exchange active sync accounts on my Z10.
    If I searched for emails on OS 10.0.x I had the option to perform a remote search in every account. After upgrade to OS 10.1.0.273 the remote search buttons are no longer available. To delete and add the accounts on the phone does not fix the problem.

    Can anyone confirm this or better have a tip to reenable remote search?

    Are you sure you are doing a search and then scrolling to the bottom to look for remote search? I ask because I am not aware of any "buttons" and don't want to assume we are talking the same thing.

    Just want to monitor the responses on this, I don't have 10.1 yet.

    Remote search is not necessarily enabled from the server side, but if you were just re-connecting to the same accounts and the feature went away, then it's definitely possible that something happened to that feature with the newer release.

    Are you using an officially supported release or a leak?

    Only other thing I can think of is whoever is operating the server infrastructure has some policies in place that specifically target particular versions of the Blackberry OS, and haven't been updated to apply to 10.1 yet.

    yes I definitely scroll down. With buttons I mean the links at the end of the search results.

    The OS 10.1.0.273 is a official release from T-Mobile Germany.

    I have seen right now that remote search is still available in adressbook for all my accounts but not for email :-(

    I have just checked with the leaked 10.1.0.1880 and remote search is there.

    I'm on 10.1.0.1720 and remote search definitely disappeared for me too. Glad to hear it's back in the updated versions.

    I actually was able to fix this by just readding my exchange email. Remote search was not there and suddenly reappeared when I re added that account

    Readding the accounts did not work for me.
    I have switched meanwhile to Q10 with leaked 10.1.0.2354. Remote search is back. Great :-)
