When you pull from the top of the screen to reach your settings, I want the brightness slider to be right there instead of having to go into display first. I know it's not a big deal it's just irritating. Anyone else thing this is a good idea?

I could go for that. I don't like auto dim on any device, I prefer to set it for the conditions I'm in and how my eyes feel, two thirds of the time it dims to much for me so I turn it up, then I have to turn it down in better lighting conditions if I want to save battery. The ability to turn off auto dim would save me a half dozen adjustments a day. It's the little things that I find annoying if they are constant. The occasional big thing I just deal with.

Agreed. Those little adjustments get annoying.

The corner swipe like on the PlayBook would be ideal, I use it so many times.

Totally agree! Or even if the slide-down settings had a brightness button that you could tap for 0%, 25%, 50%, or auto.

I second this. I was just thinking of a shortcut for this....

I wonder if we make enough fuss about it we can get it implemented...

Maybe a mail to the BB 10 development team.

Search for it with the universal search. Direct access will remain in your history.

Thanks for the tip. Didn't strike me.
However I would still prefer a slider on the settings pull down.

I would like an app that turned the brightness up to full level (or a level set by the user) as soon as a video is playing or the pictures app is open. Then to return back to normal once the video finishes or the pictures stop displaying.
