Just saw this pop up a couple days ago, called Series Finale. Been looking for an app to track my TV shows so I know when new episodes are released and so far this app seems fantastic.

Check it out, maybe CB can add it as app of the week as it seems very well written and I am sure the developer will add further updates soon. I'm really impressed

Thinking about lusing thie app are you alert when a new episode come out?

So far I've only noticed it gives you the date of the next upcoming episode in the app, haven't received any type of alert notification as to when a new epi' is coming.

yea i downloaded and realized there wasn't any notification, so any recommendations for an app that has notification

currently trying out Series Guide but like it doesn't have notifications either

This one is definitely my favourite how they improve more in the future such as notifications

Thank you, this is a great idea. Currently the OS is a bit limited to check for new episodes in the background without the app running. This might change in future versions of the OS (10.2?) and I will consider this then.

Unfortunately app stopped working on 10.3 leak (at least on 10.3.1052).
But the good news is that the dev is currently working on it ! I sent him an email tonight and got this reply 20 minutes later :

"Hi,

Thank you for your kind words. I'm aware of the situation for 10.3 and have been trying to fix it. Unfortunately I haven't been able to solve it yet and maybe I won't be able to do so before the release of 10.3.
Please note that I really want to fix it since I am a heavy user of the app myself...

Sadly Series Finale was never fixed for 10.3.
