I'd like to know how do I set the sleep hours for my Q10? Meaning, I don't want it making ANY sounds from 11pm to 8am EST.

    Thanks in advance!

You could use bedside mode which turns off all notifications except your alarm if you set it. When the screen is locked just swipe the shade down from the top.

You can also visit the clock app, swipe down from the top and enter bedside mode there.

But before you put your Q10 into Bedside Mode check the settings from within the Clock app to make sure "Phone calls in Bedside Mode" is set to off.

Easiest way to enter bedside mode is to double-click the lock button and swipe down from the top to pull the "shade" down.

Do note that, unlike earlier Berries, switching the phone off will NOT allow it to switch itself on from the alarm - as I found out to my cost the other morning at 5am.

I thought the question was how to set the Q10 to enter bedside mode between fixed hours every day. It is not very useful if all you can do is remember to switch bedside mode on manually every night -- that's a disaster waiting to happen! So where do you set the bedside mode hours?

I don't think you can automate it

Perhaps automate it with NFC tags?

I just swipe down on the top screen and click the notifications icon. This switches my profile from normal to silent, while allowing the alarm to remain active. If you forget to switch notifications or enter bedside mode, the first time you get a 3 am text or email will be the last time you'll forget. I have trouble remembering things sometimes, partially because I have ADD, and I've never forgotten to switch my profile before going to bed. I do sometimes forget to turn notifications back on when I get home from work (we have to either put our phones by the office or turn them on silent, no way in h3ll I'm leaving my phone laying around at work), but thats another issue altogether. I haven't had a problem thus far with any noise during sleep hours with just switching my profile to silent.

Hmmm that would be nice an auto bedside mode at what you set for each day

It will be better if we can set the bedside mode to a timing.

was it not a feature of the older Berries, My Torch for example, that you could set the Bedside mode to come on automatically when you plugged your phone in, but only during certain times? And the phone would automatically go into Bedside mode with all notices off, or only Phone on or just everything dimmed depending on your setting? Seems some of the nice touches are missing from the new Z30, that and a good charging dock for bedside use too.
