    Hi
Does anyone else experience BlackBerry link prompting to install a software update to the Q10 when it's connected even though the update has been applied?

Do you keep deleting carrier bloatware (FaceBook, 4Square, Twitter, etc)?

Ya I had that happen to me today - I used the settings >software updates on the handset but when I connected to my laptop it said I had an update (273)

Do you keep deleting carrier bloatware (FaceBook, 4Square, Twitter, etc)?
I got rid of all the above mentioned - is there a corelation?

If you deleted any carrier bloatware you will get a software update notification.

If you delete carrier pushed apps Facebook LinkedIn etc you will get notifications telling you to update it reloads the apps. Consider creating a folder and moving the apps there to forget about them.

Hell no! I am not loading that crap back on my phone just to clear an error in the Blackberry Link software - they need to sort that out before I install anymore updates via the pc

    same repeating issue here.

have been on .238 since getting the device sim free last week. checking for .273 via the device draws blanks so thought i'd install bb link and see if i get prompted there. only prompts for .238. so 'installed' that. nothing seems to have changed on my device after the update even though i deleted both the stock facebook and twitter apps. plug the device back into link and still get the .238 prompts.

You will continue to get update notices because like I said in earlier post carrier pushed apps when deleted will then trigger a update notice to re download them on your phone. Notice how the update is only 10 to 25 mbs. Only solution is to do what I recommended earlier.
