Hi there,


I bought my Q10 this afternoon, only got it out of the box about 2 hours ago. I'm on EE, migrated over from Orange.
All was going fine, until I plugged the handset into charge and it switched off. Then a pink blackberry logo appeared, and has been there ever since, so a good 1 and a half hours of just this pink logo.. I've pulled the battery and reset by holding the on/off button for 10 seconds, and still the handset is stuck on this screen. Its like it is software updating, gets stuck at 100% and then nothing.. I've left it charging for 45 mins now, but still no change.

Any ideas guys?

Have you tried connecting it to Link? Does it recognize the device? Try that and reload the software through Link!

Remove the battery and connect to link, run reload device software and then put the battery in, this will reset the phone in development mode and u will be able to reinstall the software.

NOW stuck on black screen / red light on and off and no way to boot up.

so do not pull batt ,plug into link and try reload software.

oooh I got it! it worked!
I just reset it like 3 times and its up and running!
how I reset it was pushing and holding the top button on the top of the phone!

In case somebody has the same problem as abigolightly, do not remove the battery when the phone is in the middle of a security wipe. I don't know if Karanveer didn't notice that abigolightly said it was security wiping, but removing the battery while security wiping will brick the phone and require a computer, BlackBerry link and some special steps to get the phone working again.

I recently upgraded my software from Blackberry 10 to 10.1 on my BB Q10 from T mobile.

After the update finished, the phone restarted. It has been stuck on the 100% screen for over two hours and will not finish rebooting.

I tried taking out the battery and it automatically went back to the 100% screen. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions please?

Mine completed the 100% pink sceen and after that it stuck on Software update for more than an hour! I'm getting pissed off.
