I think that the developers should try to redevelop those banking apps that was available for the BlackBerry OS 5-7. After I upgraded to BB 10, I cannot do any online banking without going to the bank's website. We need less games and more productive apps.

I believe that the TD banking app just took you to their mobile site anyways. Just bookmark it and add it to your home screen. It's basically the same thing.

They have said they are in development. Been that case for a couple months now, hoping that means that it isn't just a simple app, but one that can do mobile payments.

I use the browser for now. I think I may be blacklisted at TD support for the constant requests for their app to be ready ;D

The new app sounds like it will have some interesting functionality, including NFC. Should be pretty sweet when it does finally emerge. If people would like to contact TD about it, it might be a good idea to mention in your correspondence that CIBC and Scotia Bank are already on board, as well as a number of other banks...they don't want to be the ones to come in last to the table.

Tried to download the mobile app but not available for device, don't like going through browser because you have to zoom into everything to type in info guess I'll have to wait till TD makes the move.

This is my response from TD <[email protected]> on April 18:

"Delivering an exceptional customer experience is our number one priority at TD Canada Trust, and we are always happy to receive feedback.

We have forwarded a copy of your suggestion to the appropriate business area for consideration of future improvements and enhancements."

So no word of an app in development here, unless someone else got something more recent. Keep emailing them, RBC is still singing the same song. Check my thread below for contact info for these and many others. Please go through the list and fire off an email to the ones you're interested in.
