    Good morning,

I got a q10.. is there a way, before buying a code, to see if it is already unlocked? I know how to do it on the 9900/older series..

And, a rogers q10 will work fine on Bell ?

    Thanks
    Frank

To answer your second question about the networks, LTE may or may not--depending on your Rogers Q10 model and location. If you have a SQN100-3, it has the LTE 2600 band. As I understand it, Bell has not activated it's LTE 2600 network everywhere; it's LTE network is much more reliant on the 1700 MHz band, which is present in the SQN100-1 model. Bell sells this model, and Rogers sells it too, if specifically asked for by the customer.

HSPA+ will work fine on both models.

Go into your settings, security, then sim card

Will bring up a screen telling you if it's unlocked or not,

I would assume because it gives u the option to unlock the network, that it is locked to the network you bought it on

Just put in the sim you want to use... if it prompts you for an unlock code after booting it is locked to another carrier. Fool proof.

If it turns out that you need an unlock code, I've found someone doing it for $25 which is the best price I've found for Q10 so far. I don't want to anger the CB gods so I won't post openly but if someone PMs me I will share the info as soon as I've received my code (I JUST ordered it and I want to be certain it's legit before exposing others)

Ok. Unlock code confirmed in my Q10.

$25 cdn for Z10 or Q10 unlock... mine was delivered in under 2 hours from 1st contact. I'm a pretty happy camper here

PM for deets if you're interested.

edit: I just realized I can't find a PM box or anything here . I'm sure I have one or something like it haha. If anyone has a better idea or can clear my ignorance please share.

This is not unlocked, the option to unlock goes away once unlocked

Look in the blue bar on top. See where it (probably) says 0 new right now? PMs are accessible through that list. There's a bug though, that if your page is scrolled all the way to the top, the PM counter doesn't appear in the drop down list. So scroll down a bit and then click on the counter.
