Why does T-Mobile and everybody have the Z10 listed as "Up to 32 GB Expandable Memory"? It can go to a 64gb card for a total of 82gb. Why aren't they pushing the 82GB in their advertising to drive sales?

Because realistically they are addressing the expandable memory apart from the phone memory.
So it takes up to 64 external memory.

Why they decided to separate them in ads is beyond me. I'd say though, that it's done to stress on it being expandable disregarding how large it gets. In comparison to IPhone where ads project on how large its memory is but just with no expansion.

    Cheers,

    Oh, and another thing.
The 64 card really slows down the phone for some reason.

I guess it gets hard to process.
At least it did so for me.
I switched to a 32 GB external memory card and it's now butter smooth.

82gb? 64+16=80. Where are these 2gb coming from?

I don't know why it says 32gb as well. Should say 64gb expandable since it can and does support it.

64gb card isn't slowing my phone down at all.

I'm glad to hear the 64 is working fine with other users.
It must be a momentarily case with my device.

Sammy, the 2 GB for Ram have nothing to do with the storage space!

Might be the speed on the card. Did you get the Class 10?

Wasn't aware of card speeds at the time :-/

I think they come in one speed in my country. Differs is storage size only.

I'll check with the store I got it from again though. Thanks for the tip.

That is totally different. You do not add the RAM to that number.

Maybe you need a better card. I see no difference between my 32 and 64. 25 gigs of music, all my movies and pics load instantly
