First off please title your threads more appropriately to the issue found, in the future.

Are you connected directly to the PC us and not via a hub? If not close the BLINK, disconnect BlackBerry and reconnect.

If so do the same above, before connecting BlackBerry do a repair on BlackBerry link.

I know this not the best, but you can copy your files to your PC and then to the Z10, ar better to a SD card and just use it on the Z10

Now is this new bought from store or new bought from somewhere online like kijiji? Cause either way I'd suggest a security wipe on the device.

When you first connected your Z10 to your PC, did it say it was installing the drivers and whatever else is necessary on the PC for it to recognize the Z10? If not, try uninstalling BlackBerry Link and reinstalling it. Once its reinstalled, open BBLink and add your BlackBerry ID. Then connect your Z10 via USB and see what happens. It should say "installing device" or something to that effect on your PC. Once this is done, it should work fine.

You can also try Settings > Storage and Access > USB Mass Storage > and try it with this set to "On" and again with it set to "Off" I had to eventually turn this "Off" last night in order to get a bunch of music onto my memory card.

why are you doing it through link? just connect your BB and after you enter your device password, it shows up as a mass storage device....copy and paste files just you would on any drive....

Doing it through Link ensures that the correct device drivers get installed on the PC. I just plugged my Z10 into one of my work laptops that doesn't have Link installed and it tried to install the drivers but failed. When I tried it on my other work laptop that does have Link installed, it installed the drivers successfully.

You don't need to do the transfer through Link, that you can do as a drag and drop USB drive, but I recommend installing Link anyways so that the PC recognizes the Z10 correctly.

    A couple of tips...
SD card is the first thing to get. And try to get the older version of Link software. Can't use reload on the newer version.

I was having this same problem a few days ago, I think I messed around with something because it was not always giving me the problem.

    Turn off your wifi,
On the device manager on your computer
Make sure you force it to mount the volume
On the device manager settings, check the box that says mount volume on connect

Z10 phones have problems syncing to the pc when wifi is activated on the phone. Take off wifi on your phone and you shouldnt have an issue
