Is there anyway to have the speed dial tiles the same size? Some are big..some are small...it's all over the place.

Hmm, can you post an example? I'm not sure what exactly you mean here...

Unless you're talking about the favourite 'tiles' at the top of the phone dial section. If so, all three of mine at the same size...

Yes...the tiles on top of the phone dial. Mine are all different sizes.

Hmm, mine are the same. Perhaps its because the pictures are different sizes? Maybe one is landscape and the other portrait?

in the phone app it is called speed dial and in the phone book app it is called favorite..

my first two are big but when I add up more than that they become smaller

I have 9 all the same size. As I recall the first 3 were large but then I started adding more they all became "smaller".

It does just depend on how many you have. I would of thought you should have 3 small rows. Maybe remove and re add some and try and restart the phone.

i got 9 on mine then i tried to add more and it doesn't let me add more than 9

i tried a reboot...so I think 9 is the max you can have

I can only get 9 as well which is really enough for me personally, but I am sure others would have a need for more.

The one thing I would like to see is having both first and last name on the tile as I have people with the same first name that I would like to add, but not seeing the last name makes it impractical. Maybe Kevin and the CB team can give this a mention to the folks at BBRY.

phone book>setting>sort contact by last name.

but no good when having too many with same family name

I guess that is why you would have to put pic of everyone with the name

When sorting by last name, it still only shows the first name on the speed dial tile. At least for me.

I honestly don't even know how to block out the names or numbers after I take the screenshot.

Via a computer you'd use MS Paint to blur the name and or number(s)...

I so hate being the grammar police, BUT "would of" is incorrect. Either use "would have", or its contraction, "would've", which is the source (homonym) of the ubuquitious error. I have almost never seen anyone get it correct anymore. Sorry. Teachable moment.

I don't like using the speed dial. Is there a way to put icons on the home screen like an app that links to a phone number.

I have a folder called Web that has my Web pages and I would like to set up a second folder called phone that stores my commonly dialed numbers.

I'm thinking there may be a way with a bit if effort as I recall seeing someone post an option to dial out from the browser by using a command from the address bar.

Big thank you to anyone that can figure this out.

Ok...got it up. So, see some are small and some are large. Probably didn't need to mask faces but didn't feel comfy posting pics of other people.

You could also use the search function.
Search the name of the person you frequently call, their name will remain in the search Window whenever you open it. Just tap and dial.
