I was wondering if anyone has encountered the problem with the email function in the Z10 where the recent email contacts keep showing up below the To field. I can't seem to find a way to clear these recent email contacts like the the article below:

It appears there used to be a way to clear the email addresses out by un-checking a box in settings labeled "Show Recent Contacts When Composing Email". When you un-check this box it only showed contact information for those people that are saved in your phone under contacts.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I don't find it annoying as sometime I don't have someone saved as a contact so if I want to create new mail to them it makes life easy

I agree with you. I don't overall dislike that recent contacts show up under the To: field but as the article below states, its the same 2 contacts from when I first bought my phone and they don't change:

Like you I didn't have them saved as a contact, but have since added them as a contact and they both still show up despite the fact I've emailed other people more recently than them.

Have you seen this at all?

Hard to believe there are things missing in 10.1 that were there in 7.1. I'm a bit discouraged here, the Q10 is not shaping up to be the device that I'd hoped, or that RIM touted as perfect for the diehard BlackBerry fan. Shameful.

It's a new OS and with any OS it takes time to implement legacy features properly

This is definitely a quirk I'd like to see rectified. It really fills the list with anyone and everyone that was ever addressed in an email either sent or received.
