its sad the negative threads get far more attention here. Every time someone posts something positive it gets buried instantly. Stop defending your phone in negative threads and just make your own thread about your experiences.

Awesome. I'm happy with the camera. I think it's great. I don't expect a photographer type of camera on any phone. I have a digital camera for important times. Otherwise I use my phone for whatever and the pictures are great to me.

Great macros. Not up on Canadian coins but is that a normal coin in circulation over there or is it a special edition. Seems more the later to me, but I could be wrong. Your right that it is the negative threads that get most of the replies. Sad reflection on homo sapiens maybe there.

I'd say it was the phone AND you.
    Definitely very cool pics.
I've always found that my BlackBerrys have been great for macro shots.
Although I tremendously look forward to the nicer camera on the Z10, here are a couple examples from my 9850.
(not trying to hijack your thread btw)
Baby wasp (she was really tiny)

    Little spider

    Honey bee.

Based on my results with my 9850, I think I will do very well with the Z10 camera.

And yes...I have a thing for bugs.

Lol, you had to say it, didn't you?
Seriously though, I just like bugs.
My son ( and probably most people ), thinks I'm nuts, because I'm always getting up close and personal with assorted bees, wasps, and spiders.

So I just saw this thread and thought about trying it out, so I went to take a close up on some flowers and a bee flew in the shot. Honestly the closest I have ever been to these little devils. It's a nice picture though!

    Lolololol!!!!! Ahahaha, that's hilarious.

Last summer I got a couple pictures of a tarantula hawk (think GIANT tarantula killing wasp), although it was a smallish one, comparatively speaking.
I'm hoping to be able to do the same this summer.
If I ever am stung or attacked, I will be the first to post my injuries, and accept my "told you so's"

My wife asked me if it'll be worth it if I get stung, I replied that if I get the shot, then definitely.

I love the camera too, although I smudged mine accidentally.

In terms of the negative, I really hope 10.1 has lots of bug fixes.

I'm open to the positive but lots of issues made me feel like I was beta testing without an option to report problems.

Gizmodo did a comparison piece between the Z10, the iPhone 5, and (I think) the GSIII when the Z10 was first released. They actually gave the Z10's camera some nice props, but they also declared that it had "the worst low-light performance we've ever seen on a smartphone camera", so of course the critics took that and ran with it.

Personally, I LOVE the Z10 camera, and the HDR in the 10.1 update takes some interesting pics...

As a kid, I got bee stings a couple times. The first, when I was pretty young, I saw a bee on the sidewalk, looked like maybe it was dying, and I thought it's final resting place should be on a plant...yeah, I wasn't the brightest kid.
As an adult, an angry wasp once stung me in the head 3 times (It got in my hair and I was trying to swat it out)
