Title says it all and the Poll has multiple entries as a possibility.

    Dear CrackBerry Community!

I was inspired by another thread in the Q10 section, and I thought that we should have a Thread like that, where users can tell the community what they will never miss about a legacy OS BlackBerry.
I included a Poll, that is limited by its number of possible answers and my own creativity (multiple answers possible)

    To start:
Legacy devices were great for some things, if not, we wouldn't be here
But I am happy that a lot of issues are gone with QNX...

    For exemple:
    Spinning clock of death.
    Reboots, for every App installed/deleted.
    Truncated Mails.
    Abysmal Multimedia performance.

What will you never miss about your old BBRY?

Seeing the trackballs slowly change from white to black despite my efforts to keep it shiny and new. And that camera on the 9900 was just a mess.

My usb port wouldn't charge so I had to use a cradle charger. My 9650 would burn out batteries every 3 months.

    Browser was really really bad

Battery pulls and spinning clock will not be missed.

The lag on the music player! Changing songs too fast would make my Bold 9790 crash

And the "Select All" when you Broadcast, I hate broadcasts.

I'll have to pop into my browser to take the poll. On the upside I can! One of the things I won't miss is clicking on a link in an email or just trying to go to a website and being told that the page was too big load or that it had timed out.

I also don't miss battery pulls. I've pulled the battery on my Z10 exactly once and that was to find out where the phone was manufactured.

    Restarts after downloading an app.

Don't miss the splats all over the screen from all email accounts. Love the hub!

Don't miss sore thumbs from typing on the keyboard.

My curve was a great phone and I got lots done with it, but I don't miss it. Loving the Z!

I haven't taken the plunge yet, but I probably will this month ( Z10 at Costco for $149 ). Going to get one for me and my son.
But I'm replying anyways...I won't miss the constant memory leak, causing me to need to reboot daily!!!

Aside from that, I love my 9850.

I just used my 9810 torch, as I will delete the harddisk pretty soon, to sell it.

And I just realised how much, I will NEVER miss the damned screen unlock button.
I pressed it accidently at least a thousands times.

I love the screen unlock swipe gesture on the Z10!
And I never pressed the unlock button even once, without the intention of doing so on my new BBRY phone.

How was the browser performance before OS 7?

Pretty much non-existent. It was ok in a pinch to view some WAP sites, but that's about it. It got better in BBOS 6 and 7 after the Torch Mobile acquisition and they switched to a WebKit based browser, but it was still nowhere near the BB10 browser in performance.

Really the only things that bugged me were the boot times and very slow app installs and reboot requirements. Os7 browser was pretty good I thought.

I always though so... The Multimedia performance was the reason I waited for OS 7. But it's nice to hear it from first hand experience.
    Thanks for the quick reply
