I've recently side loaded Skype on my Z10 but I have no option for video calling. I believe I installed the latest version of Skype from both Goodreader and BB10Bars using DDPB. I'm on Verizon with software 10.0.9.422. Anybody else with this software able to get video calling working on Skype?

Don't get it from those places. Find the article on Crackberry. That's the good one for video calling. I'm using it now.

So you have the same software and using Skype? I used the forum from side loading android apps. I'll try using Google Chrome this time. Hopefully it will work.

The sideloading apps are fine. The Skype file you have is an old Android port. It has no video.

Crackberry links to the new Skype yanked off the Q10. It's still an Android port, but it's current and the video works.

I tried the link, installed Skype and still no video calling. Plus I also can't get the menu bar working. I will try another link to see if it works. if not I'll just wait for the official app to pop up in BB World.

Installed it and tested it with video - how cool.. it also runs in the background so you don't need to leave the window open all the time - nifty..

I got the link from CrackBerry and it's working fine.
Only once got stuck and caused an unwanted restart of the phone. Actually this was the only restart I ever had. Nevertheless, other than that video and audio are fine.

Open Skype, go to settings and ensure that video calling is enabled.

You need 10.1 OS on your Z10 for Skype to run properly and it's not out yet.

For the official version yes you need 10.1 but with the leaked version, you can run it on a non 10.1 OS. I had it runnig my z10 and i havent updated to any 10.1 leaks but sideloaded Skype from here and it worked perfectly fine albeit was very laggy and sometimes the video didnt work for me.
