Can anyone tell me if mobile hotspot is a feature on the z10? I don't mind having to buy and app if need be but I was courious if it was doable for those of us that do not own a playbook for use with bridge? Has rroyy posted a bridge useable with os10?

No app required either. You turn it on through the connection settings

I'm subscribed to mobile hot spot with my Verizon Z10 and I continously keep getting data drops when I have it on. My LTE icons gets smaller disconnecting my data therefore sending my phone on a fritz because I keep getting notifications that blackberry protect can't find me. Drives me nuts. Running latest leak.

Can you force your BlackBerry Z10 into 4G or 3G mode? LTE might not be optimal in all areas.

    Settings>Network Connections>Mobile Hotspot.

Keep in mind, some carriers charge for it.. some do not. It may need to be a service you subscribe to. But in any case, the option is there.

in the event it is something one would have to subscribe to is there a app of some kind that I could use to circumvent that? That is what I am doing on my iPhone right now. Of course I had to jailbreak it first which is a pain and renders the device un-upgradeable unless you don't mind losing the jailbreak and there by any apps from a 3rd party source. I paid $15 for the app and it works great but my phone is at the latest os version unless I don't mind losing the jailbroke status.

If your buddy is using a Z10 issued to him from work it may be dissabled via policy. We were forced to do this due to big overages in users data consumption.
