I expect a similar timeframe to Malaysia's launch since that was the case with the Z10 as well. But its just a guess. More info will likely be available soon.

this is more likely to be a media event, rather than launch, and if pre-order starts on that day, it will be a similar situation with the Z10 event as well, with it happening in malaysia a day earlier. Then, we can perhaps assume a similar timeframe with malaysia in regards to the day where we can actually buy them. Or it could be like the article suggested, end of may, or early June. No matter, more will be known come 9th may. Until then, this is all just my speculation.

Yes. Media Preview is this evening. I was initially going but couldn't make it. A friend will be going. So news will be out latest by this evening.

BlackBerry Q10 will be available in Singapore towards the end of March. The recommended retail price of the device is set at S$898, sim-free. Which amounts to around 730USD. A surprise definitely as the Z10 launched at a RRP of S$918. Even our neighbours in Malaysia, Z10 was RM 2188, Q10 at RM 2388. Somehow Q10 is cheaper in our market. Not that I'm complaining. But one thing that was disappointing is no firm release date still. ARGHH.

Edit: spoke with a few reps trying to dig out more info, but nothing about release dates. They said talks with carriers are still ongoing. But did promise it will be out by end of May for sure.

Also the RRP of the Q10 is in fact still above Z10. It's just that the RRP of the Z10 has dropped.

Q10 is finally coming to Singapore on 31st May 2013.
It will be available from all authorised partners in Singapore including Courts Connect, M1, SingTel and StarHub.
Customers can pre-order through Courts Connect from 18th May 2013 and SingTel 25th May 2013.
The RRP without contract is SGD898.00 including taxes.
