The earphones that comes with my Z10 will only work the left side now...should I contact Fido or BlackBerry to get it replaced and is it going to be replaced by someone?

I would contact the carrier first.

I would get new headphones. The amount of time to get rit replaced may not be worth it.

When I had an iPhone I took my earphones to the Apple store and got new ones replaced. They just checked the serial # and gave me new ones. I'm sure blackberry will give you new ones 1-800-blackberry.

I'll try that out, my carrier isn't any helpful, they keep putting me on hold every time i call about the issue and can't figure out what to do.... i seems to get a stupid rep each time I call.

Hold on...1800 - blackberry isn't a valid number, there is too many digits

I have the ones that I bought with my ipad but I'm planning on selling my z10 when aristo comes out so that will affect the value of the phone if I don't have that with it (people want it even if they are really not a great quality, dont ask why I don't know)

Why did they stop working? Do you keep them in your pocket? How do you pull them out? Are they usually tangled up?

I actually used them only at the gym and this weekend when I plugged it in it would only play one side. It was folded in circle inside a textile pouch

It is possible it is not your earphones but maybe the contracts in the plug in the phone.

All it takes is a bit of a tug on one of the wires and you'll lose that side. They're about $5 on ebay or amazon. I usually buy 2 or 3 at a time to have them on hand because I listen to books and podcasts at work all the time. That way if I bung up the current set, I'll have another to grab.

The quality of the earphones are pretty cheap. You'd be much better off buying a pair of skull candy earphones. Or any kind of earphones with a mic

I always wondered what do they (the carriers) do with it when they don't give them as I think BlackBerry give it to the carrier
