    It is great. Only problem I've had has been with the battery but the refined 10.1 is to nice to give up.

    The info here is useful to those who have installed the unofficial release. I do think the title of this thread needs to be edited to add "leaked" or "unofficial" upgrade so that people coming to the forum, especially those still deciding whether or not to get a Z10, doesn't think these issues are on a validated version of the OS and potentially steer them away from purchasing one.

    you are runing a leak/beta OS, nothing is going to be perfect... imo this thread shouldnt exist as its misleading as hell

    having none of these problems , using verizon Z10.
    And battery life improved significantly.

    my phone froze twice while i was using the browser. I had to force a restart by holding the power button.

    Sorry about the misleading title. Certainly don't want to scare people away from BlackBerry.
    But how to edit the title? Maybe someone from CB can do it?

    I had the same issue (VZW -100-4)... Did the upgrade and noticed the battery starting draining very fast (and the battery was hot) - went from 100% to 25% in 4 hours.

    I powered off the phone, did a battery pull, put the battery back in and everything has been running great!!!! I took it off the charger yesterday morning and used the phone all day. After 16 hours, I still had 55% left...

    Besides a few apps no longer working, this is a great OS and I highly recommend it.
