My Z10 is overheating most of the time. The phone temperature is going till 38 degrees sometimes. What shall I do?

No it gets heated anytime. I keep it for sometime and it gets cooler. But it happens regularly.

Try to turn off cellular data for a while. I noticed that the phone is significantly hotter when using cellular data like 3G, and cools down every time I turn it off and connect to wifi.

When using data the phone tends to warm up. If reception is poor the phone's RF amplifiers will tend to push out a little more power to add gain. This will make more heat. If you are running a number of extra apps in the background that are using a fair amount of data this will also add to the CPU work load and thus create more heat.

My phone does get hotter when on prolonged calls or data usage. The worse will be during navigation. But these are normal and should not be alarming.

Mine overheat even with maybe 1 min of whatsapp. It gets really hot. Planning to send back for service after my LE comes

It's related to radio signal. Try and lock on 2G if you're not browsing.

3G heats up the phone if signal is weak where you are.
