Why do you need an upgrade? Does the device need one? Are you having issues?

    First off, welcome to CrackBerry!
Please update your profile to include your device, carrier, and location. This makes it easier for others to help you.

Please provide your carrier and your current OS version, and maybe the Software Release number too. Also which model of Z10 do you have as there a few regional variants. I assume you have the STL100-2.
From your Z10, if you type "myver" then space in any text field, it will give your device model and OS version.

Otherwise, from home screen or Hub, swipe down from top and select Settings. Tap About at top of list. Under the first category General, you will see your Model Number and the Software Release. Tap Category and select OS from dropdown list to see the specific OS Version, as this is not the same number as the Software Release.

Also interested in your answer to my friend's question above in 2nd post. Maybe there's some functionality you're seeking that we can help you find.

Thank you all for the response. The current OS version is 10.0.9.2372 and the model number is STL100-2 like you rightly said. I'm not able to get the software release number. Basically I want to install WhatsApp on my new device. Thanks

Have you tried again recently to see if it's available to you in BB World?

At first, I believe it was only available with a minimum OS of 10.0.10.x. But because Verizon ls such a major carrier and also on a 10.0.9.x build like you, WhatsApp changed their requirement. From my PC, WhatsApp shows a minimum OS of 10.0.0 and as available for All Carriers and All Countries.

Did you previously have WA on a BB device with the same BBID?
If so, go to My World, App and Games, and tap Available at top. Tap overflow menu icon (3 dots, bottom right) and select to update list. Wait for list to re-populate. Is WhatsApp there now?

Which carrier's sim card is in the Z10 now?
And do you still have an activated micro Sim card for Vodafone UK or any other carrier?

This is how you CB10, son!

Do you have activated sim cards from any other carriers? Do you have one from Vodafone UK? If so, insert that one then go to Settings, Software Updates.

They have to package an update and send it ota, if not you can grab any Sim from any carrier who have pushed the update and use BlackBerry Link to do a restore and your device should be running the latest os available for that carrier, it doesn't have to be an active Sim card.

    Congrats! Glad that worked.

What version did you end up with?
Again, if you're posting from your Z10, just type out myver then a space and you'll get something like this:
    Z10STL100-3/10.0.10.672
