The selection of ringtones is nothing short of pathetic. Having been a BlackBerry user since 2006 I've always been used to see numerous ringtones to pick from. I wish I could put OS 5 ringtones in the folder. Anyone else feel this way?

So download the OS 5 ringtones and use them. I'm guessing that's kind of the point, why fill up your device with ringtones you don't want or will never use? Most people download and use their own ringtones anyway.

The stock tones are weak suck at best. You can download the old ones from older bb's from the ring tone section of cb. I'm using the ones from os6

Where can I get the OS 5 ringtones? BlackBerry has done a good job making them unavailable.

But this can be annoying because anytime my phone connects to my car blue tooth it starts playing ring tones as mp3s.

Actually you can solve this by creating a new folder in the Voice folder and then putting ring tones in there...

Can't delete any preloaded apps, bb or carrier, without being prompted for an upgrade though.

Just put your ringtones in the "voice" folder on your SD card and this will stop happening.

I hate the crappy selection too. But I found the article that had classic BB ringtones on it and installed them. I'm a happy camper now.
