    If I could figure out how to post a screen shot I would, so I'll have to just describe it. It is in the shape of an upside down teardrop. It randomly shows up in the top left corner next to the battery icon. It doesn't stay there very long, maybe 10-15 seconds. I can't figure out what it is and I have looked at all the different icons in Help. Anyone seen it or know what it is? Thanks!

    check in the one second from the bottom and see if location us on. If you use an application that requires location finding that icon will appear and disappear shortly after

    That is a location (GPS) icon. To take a screen shot press and hold the volume up and down button together till you hear a sound.

    That N means that your nfc is turned on. If you don't know what nfc is, search it. Many modern phones have it except iphone 5.

    I don't always comment on CrackBerry but when I do its on my Zader10 via CB10

    Thanks for all the quick replies. Yes my location services are on. I don't have any apps openly running though. Is the phone accessing my location in the background for some reason?

    If you go into settings, there you will find a list of all the icons used. It's fairly deep but you can find it with some patience.
