Hi guys finding it difficult to obtain the bar files for a bible application which is available on Android. It's the NWT Bible. Can anyone help?

If you have the apk, upload it here: PlayBook .apk to .bar converter
That will spit out the bar.

If you don't have the apk, google "nwt bible .apk" and try to find some file hosting website that has (a free legal copy of) it, or get it off an Android device.

There is no guarantee it will work on Playbook after converting it, you may need to try different verisons to get one that will work.

It is built into the pb. Just as long as the android app works on the pb, once you sideload it, you just need to tap the icon like any other icon.

I've aquired the .apk file and uploaded it to .apk@bar but my PC doesn't recognise my Playbook either as a drive or via Desktop Manager(Slow and buggy)

You don't necessarily need the bar file on the pb. You can use one of two tools. DDPB Installer or a Chrome add-on tool (which I now prefer) to add it. Turning on Development Mode in the Security settings.
