    I'm not sure what you mean by "cost". If you use BBM video chat (which is awesome) via Wi-Fi, you're not using carrier data so you shouldn't see any effect on your data usage. If you're wondering if it is an add-on to your plan, it is not.

    There is no extra cost. Use wifi and nothing. Don't use wifi, you'll be using up data.

    So, you are saying that unlike FaceTime, one can use BBM Video on data? Even with grandfathered unlimited data on AT&T?

    Well if you have unlimited data then there is nothing to worry about. I don't have unlimited. I'm just assuming anyway.

    It won't work unless you add it to your plan. It does work if you are on a tiered or data share plan.
