I've had the Z10 for a week and I just can't warm up to it its a nice device just not for me. So I'm exchanging for a 9900 tomorrow. My question is what will happen to the music I purchased in BlackBerry App store? Will I still have it when log into my app world account on the 9900?

Music and videos can only be accessed by BB10 devices right now. I suggest you make a backup and manually copy everything into the new 9900.

Why wouldn't you wait for the Q10?

Going from a Z10 to a 9900 is a huge leap, arguably backwards.

Not that I'm arguing your reasons, but just curious why you want to change as I got the Z10 after having a 9900 and couldn't think of going back to it...

8310 > 8520 > 9780 > Z10 and I too see few reason to go back, but if he wants to, he wants to. That's fine with me.

Look at the brigth side! He isn't going droid or iOS!

I've actually largely done the same although I haven't (yet) returned my Z10. I've tried hard to use my Z10 exclusively but am not comfortable enough after a month to let my Bold 9900 go. In the end, I'm finding that my Z10 is just my back-up phone while my Bold 9900 is still my "go to" device.

Thanks for the quick replies and how would I back up my music files do I save them to my sd card that's in the z10 now? As far as going back well I miss the keyboard and bb7 really plus I miss the "@blackberry" email to.

Copy the MP3 files via usb or BB Link onto a computer. Or email the files to yourself. Just curious, but how many songs did you buy in a week?

I moved to the Z10 a few weeks ago from a Bold 9900 (which I still have). As a consultant, I consider my phone as my lifeline. The reason I went to the Z10 was due to my 9900 acting up during a few weeks whereas it would drop calls (which is bad when talking to a current/prospective client), and did other weird things. I had been waiting for the Q10 like everybody else mainly for a real keyboard - due to the problems, I had the choice of getting my 9900 services (which would have taken a long time) or simply getting a new phone.

The only negative thing about the Z10 is the battery life - heard a fix will be in the next OS update (keeping my fingers crossed).

Don't go back! Haha just wait for the Q10. It will be a seamless transition from the Z10 to the Q10, apps, music, etc.

    Don't go back!!!!!

My battery life was poor for about a month. The update helped but my own tweaks did the trick. You will have to find what works best with your phone and apps. You will get good life. I went from 3 to 4 hours up to at least 9, with the same use.

I sold my 9900 even thought i love it. I hated the reception with that phone. Tmobile on the 9900 was terrible.... the z10 has alot of things that pisses me off but is stuff i can live with out for now.

Q10 would seem to be a good phone for productive people but without a trackpad it's pretty much crippled.
You won't get the text benefits of the keyboard without text manipulation benefits of a trackpad.

The 9900 isn't like going backwards in time, well according to everyone on crackberry, that device was "On Par" with iphone and android for the past two years and now that the z10 is here, it's like going back to the stone age? Lmao

Talk about blind fan girls lol

The 9900 is a top device, my z10 still looks up to my bold with awe as it shines in many things the z10 hasn't carried over.

Absolutely. I've had a"Z" for over a month now but miss the physical keyboard. I am swiping now. Wait and try out the Q10. At least look at the demos on CrackBerry.
