I have been using WhatsApp since launch and like most people I have had contact problems. Names or phone numbers dont show up properly. After today's update, I have read that some people still have the same issues. So I did multiple device resets and installs and found that Facebook phone numbers are the cause of the problem. Facebook is inputting people's phone numbers as "+16041231234"

The fix is to edit your contacts number by removing the "+1". They should now show up in WhatsApp.
Also when you do the edit you will see 2 numbers for this contact:
"+16041231234" & "6041231234"

Hopefully future BB/Facebook update will fix this issue.
