Just thought about this while reading a couple of Q10 threads. Some users on here will no doubt run with both when the Q10 is released, but will they be able to use both with the same ID or is this restricted? What about BBM, etc if you can?

I dont think you can use your bbid on two units at the same time. Pretty surr when you sign in the first time it ask you if you want to replace old device with the new device.

I also have PlayBook and Z10 on the same BBID. I'm not sure how many devices can be on the same I'D or if it will allow another phone.

Me too, but as the PB isn't on BB10 yet, so the issue of BBM hasn't reared it's head.

You can use one BBID on multiple devices for things like apps. BBM however can only be active on one device at a time.

Yes you can, but Not BBM. When you try to use BBM on the second device, it will tell you that the contacts will be Deleted on the first one... At least this is how it works for now...

You can use the same BlackBerry ID on multiple devices. Many CrackBerry members have a BlackBerry smartphone and tablet; we use the same BBID on both devices. In my case I use the same BBID on two BlackBerry PlayBooks, one BlackBerry Z10 and one BlackBerry Bold 9700.

You can use a single BBID on a BB10, BBOS and PBOS.

I'm pretty sure you won't be able to use the same BBID on a Z10 and a Q10 (let's wait for the Q10 to be released to confirm that)

i use the same BBID on my Z10, 9810 and PB. as mentioned by others already, BBM is only allowed to run on one device
