I have a plastic screen protector which the Verizon rep installed when I bought my phone. I'm thinking about taking it off because at times it seems like I have to tap really hard to activate an action... Does anyone else using screen protectors experience this? wondering if I should go without protection.

I use a protection film from tmo...no issues. Works well. Good sensitivity

Never liked Em. Never put your phone in the same pocket as your keys and you should have no worries. Like the above poster said, robs the aesthetic nature of the design.

Don't use one on my Z10.
When I first bought my 9860, it was recommended to me that I use a screen protector. I absolutely hated it and took it off and haven't used one since.

I have a skinomi screen protector on mine. You can't even tell it's there and it doesn't affect gestures.

I use the Zag protector and like it. I have no troubles running the screen with the Zag in place. I do have a few dings in the Zag and am glad that was not the screen catching the beating.

I use Ismooth and I can barely notice it. They've got an awesome tutorial on YouTube as well for installation. 14 bucks for 3 protectors. It feels exactly the same. Takes about 2 days of use to get it smooth like the original screen. It has residue from the protector's...protector. You can clean it or just use it like I did.

Barely noticeable.

Screen protectors have really improved a lot. Many of the top brands provide great screen protection without any of the old orange peel feeling.

Always used screen protectors. the one I have came with my "Incipio" case and it's fabulous. The screen is actually better with the protector as it was getting too messy without it after a while ( fingerprints and all) and now it doesn't.
I'm quite happy with it.

I've always used "GOOD QUALITY" screen protectors, with the good ones, you can barely tell there on. Its hard for me to justify $599 vs $25 for a scratch or microscopic scratches.

I have always bought screen protector and clear hard case for every phone and installed before phone setup: makes huge difference in resale value on ebay- always made a killing on previous units

I'm using a Spigen screen protector which I quite like, it is unnoticeable unless you actually look for it. Started off feeling a little bit for the lack of a better word stick but ow it doesnt feel any different than the glass did. Nice and easy to install thanks to the dry install Only downside, which I 'm not minding, is it is fingerprint prone. Highly recommend.

yeah, I ordered a 2pc set from overlayplus.com. the set includes a protector for my main screen and one for my camera lens. so far I love it. I barely get any finger prints or smudges on the screen. maybe check it out for urself. goodluck.
