Got an email from [email protected]. Said I was a first place winner. Just a link to fill out mailing info. Said my z10 should be shipped soon. Either I just got spammed or I won a free Z10...

It just wanted shipping info for somewhere that someone could sign for the package. No personal info other than email and phone number... I said what the heck and gave them my work address.... Email seemed a little bare bones...

You can always look up the domain owner via the WHOIS service accessible from any Internet connected web browser.

Just opened the email on my Z10 and all the wording showed up (gmail was trying to send it to spam). Seems legit. My wife will be very happy she is getting a BB10. Makes the day a little better after ruining my suit this morning!

I just got the same email!!! I came here to see if it was a phishing attempt. I agree that it didn't ask for anything scary so I just put in my info. We'll see if a shiny new Z10 shows up at my door not.

Edit - to clarify...mine came from [email protected] (and I had entered the verizon contest)

I won my Z10 from the launch event at the Best Buy in union sq. Congrats. The email I got also just stated I won and asking for an address. 3 days later, i received my phone.

I got the same email, but mine is from T-Mobile [email protected]. I have been trying to find out all day if the email is legit. I clicked on the link and sent my mailing address as requested. I really hope it is legit. I need a new blackberry, my speaker has gone out.
