I tried to attach a photo here but I couldn't I don't know, am not able to attach photos from CB10 app since it's released

    Back to main subject

When I check my device data capacity I found the following :

    Total space : 16 GB
Free storage space : 866 MB
    Videos : 88 MB
    Pictures : 62 MB
    Documents : 2 MB
    Music : 2 MB
    Other Data : 15 GB

I want to know what is the 15 containing because if it's for apps, all apps I have is like 20 to 200 MB and I have around 40 to 45 apps!!!

How come its taking 15 GB

If anyone have better explanation please let me know

    Regards.

How many emails do you have setup? Could it be synching of your emails? Contacts and multiple accounts? Box or Dropbox setup? Any sideloaded apps? I've read here that certain side loads leave some "residue" behind, within the device.

Sorry I can't really give you a good answer, but I'd be interested to see if you get to the bottom of this. Do update if you get any more info or have a theory on what could causing it.

    Greetings UAE,
Go to Settings > About > Hardware take a snap shot (press the up and down arrows)
Come back to post the picture, swipe down the keyboard and you'll see Attach Picture.
The picture will be on the Device (if you have an SD card it starts at this location, press the UP then press the SD card and then click on Device and then press on Camera to find the picture.

Oops I added a picture, but can't seem to find the attached file to erase the picture.

If this doesn't let you add the picture, you need to look at the Settings > Security and Privacy > Application Permissions > find CB and make sure share files is enabled.

Regarding your massive usage of memory, I would check your File Manager to see how big those videos are. The OS should only be about 3.5-5GB of memory.

I am also having a storage issue with my data card. 10GB other data. I can't even find the data when plugged into a computer??

I think its old movie rentals which I can no longer view. But I swear I deleted those.

Also had some movie downloads fail and redownload. So it may be partial download files.

    Do you have any ports?

Are any of your Box / Dropbox folders or files set to sync with the device?
