Is it available for Android? Why not just side load it? Otherwise only the makers of the app can move it over and make it an official BlackBerry App.

Hey tonytraj17 Budweiser released a new version of the red light app. Are you able to convert that to the .bar file. I am willing to pay you for it. Please let me know.

Just got the light for Christmas!

My family is all Blackberry though and the app is only ios/android.

I installed my first ever os leak (1925) so that I could download the app from the Amazaon App store and/or the 1MobileMarket. Unfortunately it isn't in either of those app stores.

Now I am at a loss. I downloaded the .bar above but I don't know what to do next? Also is there a newer .bar file?

Any help would be great. Thanks!

Try to sideload Snap, it's a native app that gives you access to Google play store. There is a thread about it in the forum...

I tried it a while ago but it would not allow me to get a connection between the phone and the imp card! Tried with my note3 and it worked within a few seconds

Thanks. I was just checking back to let you know I got it but you are too fast!

I used the 'snap' process from the Floppy Birds post to search for the red light bar (?) and got it all loaded up. Now I just have to wait until I get home to update the light. Have not got the previous versions of the app to work so I am hoping that this third time is the charm.

The latest version of the app works well with my Z30. I had to follow the instructions very carefully to get wifi to sync up, but once the light was green I was in business.

I can't get my Red Light connected, it keeps timing out on the test connection step

I had the issue. Red light will time out. Tried on my BB10 and on a galaxy S3. I called to receive a new IMP card. First try it paired up using my BB10. Let's see if it works. My first card never flashed red. Always amber.

I am running the android apk on my Z10 however it is missing a feature. The app does not have the delay feature in order to delay the light going off depending on how delayed your broadcast is. My son put the app on his iPhone and you are able to select a delay time, 1,2,3,5,10 seconds.
No option to do this on the Android version? Or is it only when running the android app on a blackberry?

I was also having problems getting my bud red light to work on my android tablet, and my wife's android phone.
I downloaded and installed the bb app you posted, and was able to get my bud red light to connect to wifi after a couple of try's.

couple of things I tired that worked from earlier posts:
re-insert the card, and turn light on just before the "ready" step with the app that flashes from phone to the card.
I moved the light to the same room as my wireless server to enhance signal
I left the lights off in the room to enhance relative brightness of the app flashing
